§ 2757. Insulators.

- Insulators and insulator supports shall have sufficient mechanical strength to withstand the maximum stress to which they may be subjected by a fault on the system to which they are applied. Insulators for bare conductors shall have a minimum voltage rating equal to the nominal system voltage.(Title 24, Part 3, Section 3 -710-84(b).)HISTORY1.
