§ 1149. Criteria for Non-Secure Custody.

- Minors held in temporary custody, who do not meet the criteria for secure custody as specified in Section 207.1(d) of the Welfare and Institutions Code, may be held in non-secure custody to investigate the case, facilitate release of the minor to a parent or guardian, or arrange for transfer of the minor to an appropriate juvenile facility.HISTORY1.
