§ 712. Photometric Test Requirements.

- Photometric tests shall be made with the filament in the design position. For unsealed and semisealed driving and passing lamps, tests shall also be made in the out-of-focus positions listed in Section 654 of this title. The luminous intensity of a single lamp tested as specified in Article 4 of this subchapter shall be as follows with a reaim tolerance of 0.25 deg allowed at any test point:(a) Driving Lamps. Driving lamps shall meet the photometric requirements in Table I when the lamps are aimed as specified in Article 6 of this subchapter.TABLE I.
