§ 4071. Belt Tighteners.

- Counter-balanced belt tighteners shall be of substantial construction. Means shall be provided to prevent tightener from falling in case the belt breaks, or the area directly beneath the tightener shall be guarded by a standard railing guard set not less than 15 inches nor more than 20 inches from the vertical projection of the outermost parts of the tightener.HISTORY1.
