§ 3120.3. Location and Guarding of Counterweights.

- Location and guarding of counterweights shall comply with Section 103 of ASME A17.1-1996, which is hereby incorporated by reference.(a) If the counterweight pit guard prevents viewing of the counterweight runby, an opening in the guard shall be provided which will allow verification of the counterweight runby. The opening shall be protected to prevent accidental contact with the moving equipment.(Title 24, Part 7, Section 7-3120.3.)HISTORY1.
