§ 20803. Notary Public Examination.

- The written examination prescribed by the Secretary of State to determine the fitness of an applicant to exercise the functions of the office of notary public shall be a proctored examination administered by the Secretary of State or an agent of the Secretary of State. The Secretary of State or an agent of the Secretary of State shall charge a twenty dollar ($20) examination fee which shall be payable at the examination site. The examination fee is nonrefundable. The examination results shall be valid for a period of one (1) year from the date of the examination.HISTORY1.
