§ 82021. Water Supply.

- (a) All adult day programs where water for human consumption is from a private source shall meet the following requirements:(1) As a condition of initial licensure, the applicant shall provide evidence of an on-site inspection of the source of the water and a bacteriological analysis which establishes the safety of the water, conducted by the local health department, the California Department of Health Services or a licensed commercial laboratory.(2) Subsequent to initial licensure, the licensee shall provide evidence of a bacteriological analysis of the private water supply as frequently as is necessary to ensure the safety of the clients, but no less frequently than specified in the following table:PeriodicLicensedAnalysisSubsequentCapacityRequiredAnalysis6 or fewerInitial LicensingNot required unless evidencesupports the need for such analysisto protect clients.7 through 15Initial LicensingAnnually16 through 24Initial LicensingSemiannually25 or moreInitial LicensingQuarterlyHISTORY1.
