§ 80091. Prohibited Health Conditions.

- (a) In adult CCFs clients who require health services or have a health condition including, but not limited to, those specified below shall not be admitted or retained.(1) Naso-gastric and naso-duodenal tubes.(2) Active, communicable TB.(3) Conditions that require 24-hour nursing care and/or monitoring.(4) Stage 3 and 4 dermal ulcers.(5) Any other condition or care requirements which would require the facility to be licensed as a health facility as defined by Sections 1202 and 1250 of the Health and Safety Code.HISTORY1. New section filed 1-31-97 as an emergency; operative 2-1-97 (Register 97, No. 5). A Certificate of Compliance must be transmitted to OAL by 6-2-97 or emergency language will be repealed by operation of law on the following day.2.
