§ 69405.1. Ambient Ozone Formation.

- (a) The ambient ozone formation hazard trait is defined as the capacity for chemical substances, such as volatile organic compounds, to react outdoors in the presence of ultraviolet light to generate ozone and other oxidants, or indoors in the presence of visible light to produce ozone.(b) Evidence for the ambient ozone formation hazard trait includes but is not limited to: measurements of reactivity of the chemical substance, such as the Maximal Reactivity Scale adopted by the California Air Resources Board pursuant to Health and Safety Code section 41712.HISTORY1.
