§ 66273.55. Offsite Shipments.

- (a) A universal waste transporter is prohibited from transporting a universal waste to a place other than a universal waste handler, a destination facility, or a foreign destination.(b) If the universal waste being shipped offsite meets the DOT definition of a hazardous material pursuant to 49 CFR section 171.8, the universal waste shall be properly described on a shipping paper in accordance with the applicable DOT regulations under 49 CFR part 172.HISTORY1.
