§ 53885. Travel Distance Standards.

- (a) Each plan shall ensure that primary health care services provided through the plan are no more than 30 minutes travel time or ten (10) miles travel distance from each member's place of residence, unless the department has approved an alternative time and distance standard.(b) An eligible beneficiary may voluntarily choose to receive services from a plan service site with a travel time or distance that exceeds the requirements in subsection (a).HISTORY1.
