§ 51097. Audiologist.

- “Audiologist” means a person who performs procedures of measurement, appraisal, identification and counseling related to hearing and disorders of hearing; provides rehabilitation services for the modification of communicative disorders resulting from hearing loss affecting speech, language and auditory behavior; and recommends and evaluates hearing aids.HISTORY1.
