§ 50501. Income -General.

- (a) Income includes benefits in cash or in kind from:(1) Labor.(2) Services provided.(3) Business activities.(4) Returns from real or personal property.(5) Contributions.(6) Other similar sources.(b) Income from sources listed in (a) shall be considered as income only if it is currently available in accordance with Sections 50513 through 50517.(c) Income from sources listed in (a) shall be divided into three types:(1) Gross earned income as described in Section 50503.(2) Gross unearned income as described in Section 50507.(3) Income in kind as described in Section 50509.HISTORY1.
