§ 1038.3. Approval of Providers.

- (a) An accrediting agency shall approve only providers who offer continuing education programs that meet all of the following criteria:(1) Use instructors who are competent in subject matter by education, training or experience;(2) Are a minimum of 50 minutes in duration excluding evaluation by participants of the continuing education program;(3) Are relevant to the scope of practice of clinical laboratory science and may include education, supervision, and management;(4) Have clearly stated, measurable, education objectives; and,(5) Use teaching methods which are consistent with the objectives of the continuing education program.HISTORY1.
