§ 3037.1. Geophysicist or Specialty Geologist or Specialty Geophysicist Examination Appeal.

- (a) At the time of inspection of an applicant's examination papers as provided in section 3036.1, an applicant for registration as a geophysicist or certification as a specialty geologist or specialty geophysicist who obtained a failing score of 10 percentage points or less below the passing score established by the criterion-referenced pass point method on the examination may appeal to the board for a review of the applicant's examination papers. Applicants who score more than 10 percentage points below the established criterion-referenced pass point shall not be eligible to appeal their examination results.(b) The appeal for a review shall be made in writing stating the reason for such appeal and citing the item or items against which the request is directed.HISTORY1.
