§ 1453. Sexual Assaults.

- The health administrator, in cooperation with the facility administrator, shall develop and implement policy and procedures for treating victims of sexual assaults and for reporting such incidents to local law enforcement when they occur in the facility.The evidentiary examination and initial treatment of victims of sexual assault shall be conducted at a health facility that is separate from the custodial facility and is properly equipped and staffed with personnel trained and experienced in such procedures..HISTORY1.
