§ 1327. Emergency Procedures.

- The facility administrator shall develop facility-specific policies and procedures for emergencies that shall include, but not be limited to:(a) escape, disturbances, and the taking of hostages;(b) civil disturbance;(c) fire and natural disasters;(d) periodic testing of emergency equipment;(e) storage, issue and use of chemical agents, related security devices, and weapons and ammunition, where applicable;(f) emergency evacuation of the facility; and(g) a program to provide all child supervision staff with an annual review of emergency procedures.Confidential policies and procedures that relate to the security of the facility may be kept in a separate manual.HISTORY1.
