§ 1147. Supervision of Minors in Secure Custody Inside a Locked Enclosure.

- (a) Minors shall receive adequate supervision which, at a minimum, includes:(1) constant auditory access to staff by the minor; and,(2) safety checks, as defined in Section 1006, of the minor by staff of the law enforcement facility, at least once every 30 minutes, which shall be documented.(b) Males and females shall not be placed in the same locked room unless under constant direct visual observation by staff of the law enforcement facility.HISTORY1.
