§ 1080. Rules and Disciplinary Penalties.

- Wherever discipline is administered, each facility administrator shall establish written rules and disciplinary penalties to guide inmate conduct. Such rules and disciplinary penalties shall be stated simply and affirmatively, and posted conspicuously in housing units and the booking area or issued to each inmate upon booking. For those inmates who are illiterate or unable to read English, and for persons with disabilities, provision shall be made for the jail staff to instruct them verbally or provide them with material in an understandable form regarding jail rules and disciplinary procedures and penalties.HISTORY1.
