§ 1065. Exercise and Recreation.

- (a) The facility administrator of a Type II or III facility shall develop written policies and procedures for an exercise and recreation program, in an area designed for recreation, which will allow a minimum of three hours of exercise distributed over a period of seven days. Such regulations as are reasonable and necessary to protect the facility's security and the inmates' welfare shall be included in such a program. In Type IV facilities, such a program can be either in-house or provided through access to the community.(b) The facility administrator of a Type I facility shall make table games and/or television available to inmates.HISTORY1.
