§ 1208. Access to Treatment.

- The health authority, in cooperation with the facility administrator, shall develop a written plan for identifying and/or referring any inmate who appears to be in need of medical, mental health or developmental disability treatment at any time during his/her incarceration subsequent to the receiving screening. The written plan shall also include the assessment and treatment of such inmates as described in Section 1207, Medical Receiving Screening. Assessment and treatment shall be performed by either licensed health personnel or by persons operating under the authority and/or direction of licensed health personnel.HISTORY1.
