§ 761. Definitions.

- (a) “Area reflectorizing material,” referred to in Vehicle Code Section 25500, is nonrigid retroreflecting sheeting or tape that may be affixed to a vehicle by means of an adhesive backing.(b) A “reflector” or “reflex reflector” is a rigid device that returns light from various angles of incidence in a direction close to that at which it is incident and which may be affixed to a vehicle by adhesive or mechanical means.
